Wir sind stolz im Rahmen der monatlichen Meetings der .NET User Group Koblenz ein überragendes Highlight ankündigen zu dürfen:

Zu unserem Dezember Meeting am 08.12.2010 können wir mit Juval Löwy einen weltweit anerkannten Topexperten für das Thema .NET willkommen heißen!

Juval Löwy is a software architect and the principal of IDesign (www.idesign.net), specializing in .NET architecture consulting and advanced training. Juval is Microsoft?s Regional Director for the Silicon Valley, working with Microsoft on helping the industry adopt .NET 4.0. His latest book is Programming WCF Services 3rd Edition (O’Reilly 2010). Juval participates in the Microsoft internal design reviews for future versions of .NET and related technologies. Juval published numerous articles, regarding almost every aspect of .NET development, and is a frequent presenter at development conferences. Microsoft recognized Juval as a Software Legend as one of the world’s top .NET experts and industry leaders.

Thema des Vortrages: “The Architect”

The software industry is in a deep crisis. Projects suffer from low quality; schedule slips and cost overrun are common. But this is hardly ordained, since there are plenty of examples of projects done on schedule, on budget, on quality in a repeatable manner. The key for solving the crisis is to practice software development as an engineering discipline, just like it is done in mechanical or electrical engineering. That is exactly the responsibility of the modern software architect. Armed with that crucial observation Juval will share his perspective on what is the key set of skills required of the architect and what it implies both to companies and to individual architects.

Normalerweise sind keine Anmeldungen für die User Group Treffen erforderlich. In diesem besonderen Fall erwarten wir allerdings einen so hohen Zulauf, dass wir eine verbindliche An- (und auch Abmeldung!) einfordern müssen.

Schreibt dazu bitte ein Email an dnug@konzeptum.de mit Vor und Zuname aller Personen die an-/ abgemeldet werden sollen. Im Anschluss erhaltet ihr dann eine entsprechende Bestätigung.

Starten werden wir aller Vorraussicht nach wie gewohnt um 19.00 Uhr, allerdings nicht wie gewohnt in den Räumen der KONZEPTUM GmbH sondern diesmal aus Platzgründen bei der GÖRLITZ AG in Koblenz. Eine Anfahrtbeschreibung gibt es hier.
